Description
Acara Solutions is looking for an Associate Extrusion Technician for one of our clients located in Palm Harbor, FL.
  • Duration: 3-6 months, possibility to convert
  • Schedule: 2P-12:30A Mon-Thu (will train on 1st shift for 1-2 weeks before transitioning to 2nd)
  • Pay rate: $22
What you will do:
  • Cleaning, assembly, disassembly and maintenance of extrusion and ancillary equipment
  • Extrusion of tubing to desired specification
  • Operation of extrusion and ancillary equipment
  • Documenting of process parameters
  • Debugging and modifying of tooling
  • Ability to read basic CAD drawings
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience of tooling design.
  • At least 1 year of experience with ISO requirements.
  • At least 1 year of experience reading CAD drawings
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • 1 year of experience extruding precision tubing preferred.
  • Experience with multi-lumen, bump tubing or other specialized processes preferred.
  • Familiarity with extrusion equipment, plastics, resins and related techniques.
