About Us:Vaco Los Angeles is working with a client who is looking for an AP Director. The company is based in Beverly Hills and the role will be hybrid (3 days/week on-site).

Position Overview: The Accounts Payable Director will oversee the day-to-day activities of the accounts payable department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a strategic mindset to enhance our accounts payable operations through automation and improved policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Develop, implement, and streamline accounts payable processes and policies.
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with internal controls and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements, leveraging tools like NetSuite, Concur, and Tipalti.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on accounts payable performance and metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial objectives and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an accounts payable leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Concur, and Tipalti is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
