Merakey welcomes all Veterans to apply! * High School diploma or general education degree (GED) with at least two years behavioral health experience and experience working with the homeless or those with Substance use disorders. * 90% of the work is done in the field with a partner. Should have the ability to work in a team setting. * Must possess computer skills to perform job duties including but not limited to desktop computing, email, time sheet management, and electronic health records, using Microsoft Office and Google Applications, and other relevant software. * Ability to enter data on a mobile handheld device while in the field. * Must have knowledge and an understanding of recovery principles and recovery driven service system. * Ability to establish professional relationships with peers. * Knowledge and experience working within Philadelphia forensic system preferred. * Peer Specialist Certification Preferred. Education/License/Certification(s): X High school diploma or GED Master's Degree High school plus higher education coursework Post Graduate Degree Associate Degree License Certification Bachelor's Degree Certification NOTE: List required degrees and or certificate(s) - and preferred if applicable Experience: Minimum Required Individual Contributor Supervisor/Manager 0 - 1 year Up to 6 years + 1-year supervisory X 1 - 3 years Up to 6 years + 1-year leadership 3 - 5 years 5+ years + 2 years leadership 6 - 9 years 10+ years + 5 years leadership 10 - 14 years >15 years Physical Demands: (Please check category) Sedentary work: Prolonged periods of sitting and exert 10lbs of force occasionally. Light work: Exert up to 20lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 10lbs of force frequently. X Medium work: Exert up to 50lbs occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs continuously.(may require walking between SEPTA stations and navigating large amount of stairs) Heavy work: Exert up to 100lbs occasionally, and/or 50lbs frequently, and/or over 20lbs continuously.
