Position Summary Information


Primary Purpose
Reporting to Associate Dean for Clinical Services, supports the efficiency, outcomes, expansion and growth of clinical services in a person-centered, comprehensive health care services and humanistic educational environment, provides operational oversight and tracking of outcomes related to all clinical operations, and develops the overall enterprise revenue cycle strategic initiatives that will drive strong financial outcomes while maintaining world-class patient services.

Essential Functions

  • Supports the Associate Dean for Clinical Services in maintaining and updating clinical policies, standards of care, standard operating procedures, patient rights and responsibilities, etc.
  • Collaborates with academic and clinical departments to develop and oversee the maintenance and reporting of key clinical metrics related to patient care, patient safety, patient satisfaction, revenue cycle management, marketing, and others to be agreed upon with Associate Dean for Clinical Services, and Dean.
  • Sets crucial metrics and puts into motion a reporting framework to monitor outcomes that fuels accountability for operations, care quality, and revenue cycle performance enhancement, to ensure annual objectives and key results are accomplished.
  • Provides primary oversight of patient experience and satisfaction throughout the relationship with school clinical services from marketing and intake through completion of treatment of care.
  • Works in partnership with Associate Dean of Clinical Services, clinic leaders, and clinic managers to ensure efficient and effective organizational structures and functions including:

    • Efficient billing and collection
    • Maintenance of appropriate clinical materials and instrument/clinical cassette to ensure high quality patient care and learning environment
    • Clinical quality assurance protocols
    • Electronic health record deployment
    • Efficient patient scheduling and intake
    • Marketing, recruitment, and retention of patients for all clinics



  • Supports Associate Dean for Clinical Services to ensure compliance with all practice acts, licensures, and certifications.
  • Communicates regularly with academic departments and attend meetings as appropriate to ensure smooth and effective functioning of clinical operations.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by Associate Dean of Clinical Services.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of healthcare and revenue cycle management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university; advanced degree in a related field highly desirable
  • Knowledge of aXium, EPIC or other electronic health record system

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven skills in leading and overseeing operational elements, setting performance measures, improving operational processes
  • Proven skills in managing, leading, motivating and coaching staff
  • Ability to deliver complex information in a comprehensive and clear manner
  • Ability to recognize and address process, technology, and organizational changes required to respond to evolving healthcare industry issues and trends
  • Act as a subject matter expert, guide decision making, and provide advice based on policies, budgetary constraints, training methodologies, and benchmarking data
  • Ability to collaborate with leaders from different departments and amalgamate organizational culture and processes
  • Ability to communicate professionally and collaboratively
  • Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting
  • Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work

Hiring Range $116,648.09 to $160,393.93 annually. We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
