Customer Service Representative (Tue-Sat, 8:30a-5p), Temp-to-perm, Franklin Square, NY

FlexStaff is seeking a Customer Service Representative to work for one of our external clients, a service company located in Franklin Square, NY.

This is a full-time job, temp-to-perm. Schedule: 8:30AM - 5:00PM, Tuesday-Saturday, Weekly Hours: 40.

Work is 100% from the office.

This role requires handling a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls, providing exceptional customer service, and resolving inquiries efficiently. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing phone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
• Identify and assess customer needs to achieve satisfaction and provide accurate information.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests efficiently, ensuring a positive resolution.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions using our CRM system.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide timely follow-ups.
• Meet or exceed performance metrics, such as response time, call quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Stay informed about product/service updates, policies, and procedures to provide up-to-date information.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a customer service or call center environment, preferably handling heavy call volumes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong active listening skills with the ability to empathize and build rapport with customers.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with CRM systems or call center software is a plus.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
