Position Details:
The Project Manager will be working within a Project Management Office (PMO) which is part of the Office of Strategic Advancement. The Project Manager will be under the administrative direction of and reporting directly to the Director of the PMO.
This position is a hybrid position and majority remote with some office time as needed.
Successful internal candidate will reside in any of the established Merakey states PA,DE,FL,LA,MD,NJ,OH,TX,VA).
Position Summary
Project Managers are responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within the requirements. Project managers develop the plan and obtain project resources, monitor progress, maintain communication to all stakeholders throughout the lifespan of a project.
Duties:
* Lead the initiation, planning, execution, monitor/controlling, and closure of Enterprise Projects and Strategic Initiatives.
* Facilitate the requirements of project scope, goals, tasks, and resource obligations; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or operational areas; develop methods to monitor project progress; and provide solution focused resolutions if necessary.
* Interact regularly with existing or potential stakeholders to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving delivery. Advocate on behalf of stakeholders and represent their needs as appropriate to senior management. Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes.
* Facilitate and manage meetings to ensure completion of activities and projects. Provide status updates to all required stakeholders and maintain updates on the approved project plan.
* Perform Business Analyst and Organizational Design Activities as assigned.
* Development of best practice process workflows and process design that aligns with Organizational systems.
* Develop and gather requirements and scope documentation to be utilized by other project teams for implementation and ensure the projects maintain agreed upon best practices.
* Accountable for management of projects/activities from inception through completion.
* Develop and maintain charters, work breakdown structures, tracking sheets, checklists, closure forms and/or any other applicable project/activity management tools as required by a project/activity.
* Establish, understand, and uphold project/activity timelines within the available resources.
* Analyze project/activity progress and performance as well as elevate and/or resolve issues to ensure appropriate action and response in order to maintain requirements and timelines.
* Collaborate with staff from other departments to develop and execute project/activity work.
* Utilization of approved Project Management or Activity Management methodologies, tools, and software.
* Create, update, and/or present project/activity/department dashboard reports to all appropriate stakeholders and levels of leadership.
* Project Manage Strategic Initiatives and Enterprise Task force as assigned.
* Conduct training as needed or requested as it relates to the project's goals and objectives.
* Other related duties, as assigned.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
* 3-5 years of experience managing various projects.
* Experience with project management terms, processes, and methodologies.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Health and Human services field or related field required; Master's Degree Preferred.
* PMP Certification.
