We invite highly motivated, independent, and organized individuals to join our team. You will contribute to the study of microbial communication in the human microbiome. This position is created for someone with prior computer science/bioinformatics/computational biology and coding experience. The candidate will be expected to contribute to novel projects advancing research and development of computational pipelines for the analysis of publicly available and lab-generated microbial genomics data. An exceptional candidate will move these projects forward independently, helping the lab to develop and test new ideas. Additionally, the specialist will be expected to assist with managing day-to-day lab operations, particularly related to the computational contingent of the lab, perform general lab duties, and be a positive lab citizen.
