Job Responsibilities: Design, implementation, and management of a 3-credit course: CSD 2041 - MANAGEMENT OF HEARING LOSS. Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists provide therapeutic, consultative, and referral services for adults with hearing loss. This course provides students with the foundation and technical skills to offer these services. Specifically, the areas of hearing assistance technology, evidence based auditory rehabilitation, and related legislation will be covered, in the context of patient and family centered care. This is a graduate level course for students in our AuD program. The syllabus will be consistent with SHRS and CSD standards. Course content, assessment, and instructional mode will be consistent with the curriculum and accreditation requirements and will be guided by the Program Director to ensure the appropriateness of the content. Applicant Requirements: Individuals applying for this position will have a master's degree and/or Ph.D. in communication science, speech-language pathology, or a related field.
