Overview

Our Nuclear Services Group is looking for Structural Engineers onsite at Crane Clean Energy Center (formerly TMI 1) in Middletown, PA. This dynamic role empowers you to drive innovative solutions, manage projects from design to field execution, and ensure the highest standards of quality and performance across diverse engineering disciplines.

    Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Coordinate and interface with various engineering teams to ensure seamless project integration
  • Design & Quality Assurance: Review and refine designs, drawings, and data to uphold technical excellence and accuracy
  • Strategic Planning & Estimation: Prepare design studies, project scopes, and engineering estimates to guide project success
  • Project Leadership: Manage budget, scope, schedule, and quality with minimal oversight, delivering results with confidence
  • Innovative Problem Solving: Devise creative approaches to overcome technical challenges
  • Field Execution & Hands-On Impact: Travel to oversee field installations, checkouts, and start-ups, ensuring real-world success
  • Mentorship & Technical Oversight: Lead and guide technical teams to maintain high standards of quality and performance across projects


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 3 years of power system design experience in the Nuclear Industry for a mid level role, and typically has 7 years of nuclear experience for a senior role
  • Demonstrated proficiency in preparation of structural calculations is desired
  • Knowledge of discipline-specific computer analysis codes as well as standard office production software
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Familiar with the International Building code and building code design
  • Good writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
  • Familiar with concrete and steel design codes and with working stress and ultimate strength design approaches
  • Must be able to get badged at a nuclear facility
  • Must be able to perform plant walkdowns

This position offers per diem for non local candidates.
