Job Summary

The Corporate Accountant will report directly to the Director of Corporate Accounting and work closely with the broader Accounting team and colleagues across the organization. This individual will play a key role in supporting the corporate entity's accounting and financial reporting functions, including monthly close, reconciliations, and audits. The ideal candidate will be a highly resourceful team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates sound judgment, and maintains a strong commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations

  • Perform the day-to-day accounting functions for corporate entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and cash receipts.
  • Process payments, prepare wires, and monitor expenditure cycles to ensure accuracy and compliance with budget approvals.
  • Prepare revenue calculations based on the contract terms and process the invoice through MRI.
  • Support annual 1099 tax
  • Prepare quarterly consumption tax workpapers for third party administrators, ensuring filings in foreign jurisdictions are processed timely.


Financial Reporting & Close

  • Assist with monthly and quarterly close processes, including preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support budget-to-actual reporting for internal departments and offices in both local and reporting currency


Audit & Compliance

  • Assist in preparation of annual audit workpapers and coordinate with external
  • Support preparation of corporate tax returns and ad hoc tax-related


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with teams across the organization to ensure timely processing of invoices and accurate budget tracking.
  • Provide accounting support and guidance to other departments on expense coding, reporting, and budget questions.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience; real estate or corporate accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with accounting software (MRI, AVIDXchange, Concur, or FloQast) a
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication
  • High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and


Work Environment & Travel

  • Hybrid work model based primarily in a professional office
