Faculty Instructor/Dematology - Full-Time

  • The Department of Dermatology is seeking basic and translational scientists with interest in skin immunology and bioengineering and a commitment to teaching to join our full-time faculty at the Instructor level. The position requires that the applicant conduct studies in investigative dermatology that bridge drug delivery and skin engineering with skin immunology to develop clinically translatable discoveries . Examples include the development of novel vaccines and immunotherapeutic strategies, including the development of novel skin targeted vaccines against pathogens including COVID-19 and skin cancers. The successful applicant will be part of a multidisciplinary collaborative research team and is expected to be inquisitive, dedicated, and highly collaborative. These research efforts are expected to lead to external competitive funding and to support the research projects carried out in this position.
  • Qualified candidates should have a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD in a field related to skin immunology or bioengineering, peer reviewed publications, and strong and diverse technical skills
