Overview

Under the supervision of the Diagnostic Radiology Manager and/or Coordinator, performs a wide variety of technical and professional duties utilizing complex imaging equipment to produce quality MRI images as requested for subsequent interpretation by the radiologist. All duties are performed according to departmental and organizational policies and procedures and demonstrates exceptional service excellence in all interactions as outlined in the Standards of Professional Behavior. To meet the staffing needs of the department, as necessary, MRI staff may be assigned at any of the YNHH MRI locations, regardless of your regularly assigned work location. Qualifications EDUCATION Graduation from an A.M.A. approved Radiologic Technology program preferred, MRI board certification required. AS degree preferred, BS degree preferred. EXPERIENCE Minimum 1 year experience or has completed YNHH MRI training program plus MRI Board Certification LICENSURE ARRT and CT state license preferred, MRI board certification required. CPR Certification preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS Proficient in routine MRI imaging techniques, above average knowledge of cross section anatomy, highly developed organizational skills, and timely and effective communications skills is required. PHYSICAL DEMAND Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds to assist with patient transfers. YNHHS Requisition ID 133094 |
