Trimble's Architecture and Design business is seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead and drive the roadmap for SketchUp product licensing and entitlements, integrating the product licensing experience with 3rd party services and Trimble infrastructure.

What You Will Do
We're looking for a strategic and driven Product Owner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of product development for SketchUp licensing and entitlements. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to define the licensing roadmap, manage the product backlog, and deliver exceptional licensing and entitlement capabilities.

  • Vision and Strategy: Collaborating with engineering and product colleagues, define product licensing, entitlement and compliance strategy in alignment with the company's goals. Communicate this vision to all stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding and direction.
  • Backlog Management: Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that the team is working on tasks that maximize business value and meet user needs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between the development team and stakeholders to gather requirements, address concerns, and negotiate priorities.
  • Technical and Stakeholder Research: Conduct technical analysis and stakeholder research to identify needs and entitlement technologies. Use insights to refine product licensing and priorities. Comprehension of technical details, explaining them in an easy-to-understand manner both verbally and in writing.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze product licensing performance against key metrics. Use data to make informed decisions about future licensing and entitlement iterations.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in product management or a similar role, with a clear understanding of desktop licensing and subscription entitlement management. Experience breaking down extensive features into incremental, executable pieces, and writing user stories.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficient in Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Attributes: Strategic thinker with a user-centric mindset. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Organizational skills, including effective time and project management skills.

About Your Location
In a hybrid role, you will work with your manager to establish a mutually agreeable schedule for your time working in the office based on the position and the business need. Typically hybrid positions are 1-3 days per week, or 20%-60% of the month in the office.
