Position Description:

As a Research Program Coordiantor II in Institute for Health and Equity you will work independently under the administrative direction of the Program Director to coordinate the activities of the program. Provide support to the team to facilitate the achievement of the program's goals.


Primary Functions

  • Ensure that the Framework for Flourishing is applied not just in an administrative sense but in a way that enriches the intellectual rigor and coherence of the research being conducted.
  • Facilitate connections between different research teams and disciplines, promoting cross-pollination of ideas that enhances the overall scholarly contribution of the project.
  • Collaborate on the development of program materials including educational materials, marketing materials, websites, forms, and reports.
  • Work with program leaders to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive databases and files related to the program.
  • Maintain program timeline including tracking deadlines for program components.
  • Oversee the project budget, tracking expenditures related to meetings, publications, and dissemination activities.
  • Assist in identifying and pursuing additional funding opportunities, helping to secure the financial resources needed to sustain and expand the research initiatives.
  • Organize internal and external meetings, site visits, and special events.
  • Collect, analyze, and disseminate program data.
  • Report program data and progress to program stakeholders. Provide input on program design.
  • Participate on appropriate committees relevant to the advancement of the program and the profession.
  • Conducting literature searches

Knowledge - Skills - Abilities

Knowledge of computers, clerical procedures, customer service standards, collaboration, and information management.

Organization, time management, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Monday - Friday, 4 hrs x day (flexible)

Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree

Minimum Required Experience: 3 years

Preferred Education: MA Bioethics
