Description The National Security's Sector/Cyber and Analytics Business Area at Leidos Inc. is seeking an Industrial Security Representative (ISR)/Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) to work in our Columbia, MD facility. The National Security Sector combines technology-enabled services and mission software capabilities for defense and intel customers in the areas of cyber, logistics, security operations, and decision analytics. Primary Responsibilities: * The ISR/CSSO is responsible for implementing the industrial security program and ensuring company and customer security requirements are met. will assist with maintaining an operational Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), support classified meetings; perform security incident inquiries and periodic self-inspections. * The ISR/CSSO will interface with executive Leidos leadership as well as other levels of employees and government management personnel and must possess the ability to perform complex security tasks while delivering measurable results. * The ISR/CSSO will review, assess, and implement necessary revisions to the SCIF Standards, Practices and Procedures (SPP) and associated internal procedures for the assigned SCIF or other classified facilities according to guidance from the Cognizant Security Authority (CSA) and applicable federal regulations such as IC Tech Spec-for ICD/ICS 705, other applicable ICDs or the NISPOM. * The ISR/CSSO is responsible for all aspects of onsite security management of the facility to include direct support to programs and staff for physical security, access control, alarm maintenance and response, subcontractor oversight, and document control/maintenance of classified equipment inventories. * The ISR/CSSO will process, update and maintain customer required security documentation for employees and subcontractors. * The ISR/CSSO will administer day-to-day security interaction with employees and subcontractors working within the facility, as well as the security guard force. Ensure access control and visitor control procedures are communicated, understood and followed. * Maintain government facility sponsors which may include drafting co-use and joint-use agreements and MOUs/MOAs for shared space. Desired Competencies: * Critical Thinking - Must have experience gathering information, objectively analyzing it, and drawing conclusions while focusing on comprehension of policies, regulations and standards. - Judgement and Decision-making - Has proven ability to assess situation and information and reach sound conclusions in atypical situations. * Compliance - Has experience with applicable policies, standards, laws, and rules, to include interpreting and applying against customer requirements to resolve security issues. - Communication - Is able to write and speak in a clear, concise, effective manner to a wide variety of audiences, including writing complex reports and displaying active listening skills. * Customer Relationship Management - Proven track record as a self-starter and experience building partnerships while understanding customers' mission, vision, and issues and prioritizing work accordingly. Required Experience: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience * Experience in SCIF administration policies and procedures * Thorough understanding of DoD and IC personnel security requirements and ability to apply Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 and NISPOM guidance to the facility's security plans and procedures. * Possess knowledge of Access Control Systems and Intrusion Detection Systems * Ability to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations * Experience conducting TS indoctrinations and refresher briefings, as appropriate * Candidates must possess an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility & Poly Preferred Experience: * Accreditations/Certifications as a, Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO), Facility Security Officer (FSO) or Communication Security (COMSEC) * Experience drafting subcontractor DD254s * Experience developing and implementing security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and emergency action plans * Professional Industrial Security Affiliations

Pay Range:Pay Range $61,750.00 - $111,625.00
