Responsibilities

Summary

Within this role you will be responsible to analyze data, track trends, work with current suppliers and make recommendations on new suppliers to support the Hardware portion of the Metallic business.

Responsibilities

    Analyze and evaluate external price trends and new product offerings to reduce overall purchasing costs.
  • Collaborates with suppliers to assure the quality of their products, materials, components and/or operations and develops supply recommendations.
  • Ensures suppliers can meet forecasted demand.
  • May coordinate efforts in the reduction of purchasing/engineering costs and establishing cost for new products.
  • May participate in design and/or technical reviews.
  • May select, recommend, and manage relationships with major suppliers, vendors, or sub-contractors to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
  • The annual salary range for this position is $82,000-$94,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)


Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline

  • Engineering
  • Business Administration

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
