Patient Service Representative Lead - OBGYN - Day/Evening

Position Highlights:

• Position: Patient Service Representative Lead - OBGYN

• Location: Naperville- Edward Hospital

• Full Time 40 hours

• Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Required Travel: Naperville, Plainfield, Oswego

What you will need:

• High school diploma or GED- Required

• One-year previous business office/clinic experience

• Previous insurance and managed care experience

What you will do:

Responsible for leading all front desk duties as well as provide front desk coverage. Answers incoming calls, schedules appointments, greets patients, registers new patients in computer system, schedules laboratory and off-site diagnostic tests requested by physician, verifies insurance eligibility and interprets covered benefits. Processes patient charges by totaling fees, applying insurance coverage, calculating adjustments, and receiving and recording payments in computer system. Serves as the point person for patient service representatives at assigned site(s).
