This is a highly visible financial reporting project management role with a solid emphasis on GAAP accounting, regulatory compliance, and IT integration. The primary responsibility of this role is to implement State Minimum Loss Ratio mandates (DLR) for UHC Dental business. The individual must be able to read and interpret legislations and regulations and be able to assess impact to accounting, finance, reporting, and other functions. The individual in this role will lead cross-functional teams including controllership, regulatory reporting, legal and compliance, actuarial and IT in ensuring compliance with state specific DLR regulations. You will also partner with IT and Financial Data Management (FDM) teams in implementing a rebate payment processes for all UHC entities impacted by the DLR regulations. This position will also have responsibility for financial accounting (GAAP/STAT/MLR) and reporting for a block of Government contracts. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
