What you'll do...

• Accurately prepare and post journal entries
• Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Assist in the timely month-end and year-end close of the general ledger and related external audits
• Support month-end financial reporting including following up on variances, data analysis, and account review
• Create accurate and concise verbal and written communications to internal departments and external business partners about accounting-related information
• Maintain secure control of accounting-related documentation; invoices, checks, journal entries, financial statements
• Participate in special projects individually or as part of a cross-functional team
• Maintain accurate job aids for all duties assigned

What you'll need...

• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in accounting or related field of study
• Two (2) years of accounting experience
• Microsoft Excel skills to include the ability to create spreadsheets (e.g., formulas such as V-lookup, graphs, pivot tables)
• Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes to internal customers
• Proven analytical problem solver
• Ability to utilize business sense and creativity to develop new ideas and solutions
• Organizational skills including the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision

Preferred qualifications...

• SAP experience
• CPA license
