About This Role

The Degree Analyst will provide accurate, effective, and efficient student services, primarily in
coding DARS exceptions, and overseeing the processing of and graduation review of minors and
certificates for the college. In addition, this position provides vital back-up in student services to ensure
that when others are absent, business processes are minimally impacted.



  • Update DARS on a daily basis (transfer courses, curriculum changes, partner with the Office of the Registrar and Academic Services for minor and certificate updates)
  • Process minors and certificates for the College of Agriculture
  • Review graduation applications for undergraduate minors and certificates
  • Answer daily questions from students and academic departments
  • Provide back-up to the Student Programs Coordinators when needed

Worksite Option

This position is required to be performed on-site. Work is performed on employer premises or designated assignment location.


What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Requires a high school diploma and one year of relevant experience.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 years of experience working in student records and/or student service at an institution of higher
    learning.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, enterprise systems and Microsoft software (i.e. KSIS, DARS,
    Navigate, Slate, PowerBI, Teams, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to correctly apply, interpret and implement policies and procedures.
  • Aptitude for attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
