ANNUAL SALARY (DEPENDING ON SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): $135,000.00 - $165,000.00

SCOPE: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our dedicated team of Breast Surgeons. The Breast Surgery PA will collaborate with the medical team to provide comprehensive care to patients with breast conditions, including both benign and malignant etiologies. They will provide pre-operative and post operative management, as well as patient education and follow-up care. A successful candidate would have a sound clinical base of general medicine knowledge, is energetic, adaptable, collaborative, eager to learn and a team player.

Site Location: Antioch/Walnut Creek/Dublin, CA


Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical exam, and diagnostic evaluations
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients with breast disease
  • Perform clinical procedures, such as biopsies, aspirations, and minor surgical interventions under the supervision of a breast surgeon
  • Provide post-operative care, including wound management, pain control, and monitoring for complications
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Masters of Science Degree, Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant Program
  • Current NCCPA Certification
  • Current CA licensure as a PA
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience Preferred (Not Required):

  • Outpatient practice experience
  • Experience with Breast Conditions - both benign and malignant
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records
