Job Title: CCIE Certified Network Security Engineer

Location: Smyrna, GA 23801

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift Schedule: Regular First Shift

Salary: $100,000- 110,000/Year with Benefits

Requested Clearance: Active Secret Clearance

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage firewall solutions to protect DCMA's network infrastructure.
  • Administer and maintain Check Point firewalls, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor firewall logs and alerts, conducting detailed analysis to detect and respond to security incidents.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to develop and enforce network security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for firewall-related issues.
  • Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technology advancements to continuously enhance firewall security measures.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including firewall configurations, policies, and incident reports.
  • Participate in incident response activities and coordinate with other security teams to address security incidents promptly.
  • Train and mentor junior staff on firewall administration and security best practices


Requirements:

  • Active DOD Secret Security Clearance.
  • CCIE Certification and/or Fore Scout Certified Engineer (FSCE) certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network access control and security engineering.
  • DISA Comply To Connect Deployment experience -802.1X deployment experience
  • Extensive experience with Fore Scout solutions, including deployment, configuration, and management.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols, and technologies.
  • Experience with DOD security policies, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
