NURSE PRACTITIONER

Talbott Recovery is currently looking for a PRN Nurse Practitioner for our Main Campus on Hunter Road, Atlanta. Qualifications

Duties/Expectations

  • Provides addiction medicine, and psychiatric/ or medical evaluation and treatment services.
  • Performs routine addiction medicine evaluations and psychopharmacologic treatment of patients at admission and ongoing, completing documentation of all evaluations and treatment visits on the day of the session and according to FRN documentation requirements.
  • Ensures timely meetings with patients and timely documentation of related notes.
  • Communicates with attending physicians, psychiatrists, etc. regarding status and treatment of the patient.
  • Professionally and ethically relates to patients and peers at all times.
  • Participates in weekly staff and clinical meetings.
  • After hour on-call schedule as needed and agreed upon.

Education and Experience

  • Unencumbered State of GA Licensed NP, expertise, or interest, in treating patients with mental illness and addictive disorders preferred.
  • Appropriate educational credentials as a Nurse Practitioner
