About the unit Our team of cardiologists, interventionalists and cardiothoracic surgeons are experts in helping children and adults with various heart defects, diseases and conditions. Our high-quality outcomes are achieved through the collaborative efforts of our experts and are supported by low follow-up illness and readmission rates. We have state-of-the-art advanced cardiac imaging services, including multimodality MRI, computed tomography and nuclear imaging. These images are read by specialists in congenital heart defects. To help further possibilities in treatment, the Congenital Heart Center is committed to research and innovation. About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of work The Echo Tech Intern will work closely with our team of Echo Techs to learn a variety of skills to help prepare them for their career as an Echo Tech upon completion of their program. The Intern will learn about a variety of cardiac testing including, stress, transesophageal, transthoracic, dobutamine stress echocardiograms and others as indicated (ICE, 3D, strain, specialty and fetal echocardiograms); Qualifications
