Job Description and Duties
Under the general direction of the Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor) (AAI) of the Accounts Receivable (AR) Unit (Unit), in the Accounting Office (Office), part of the Financial Management Branch (FMB), in the Administration Division (Division) within the Department of Cannabis Control (Department) the Associate Accounting Analyst will be responsible for handling the more complex and difficult assignments related to deposits, invoices, and reconciliation in the Unit in the Division including processing month-end closing and year-end closing functions in the Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal) and reviewing and analyzing various complex FI$Cal reports for FI$Cal posting errors for the Department.
Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development (T&D) assignment may also be considered for this position(s). If you are a c urrent State employee interested in a T&D assignment, you are not required to meet the minimum qualifications.
