Description & Requirements
A member of Forvis Mazars' People team, the Talent Strategic Operations Project Management Associate facilitates project management activities for the firm's HR team and supports HR operations.
The Project Management Associate must be highly organized, with the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and enjoy the challenges of developing and improving processes in a dynamic organization. He or she must possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills. The individual must exhibit both a professional presence and self-confidence in frequent interactions with HR leaders and regular interaction with People team members as well as representatives in other departments (e.g., Firm Technology Services, Communications, Marketing, etc.).
How you will contribute:
  • Provide advanced support for projects through interacting with subject matter experts to understand project scope and progress, document status updates, monitor timelines, etc., to ensure greater probability of success and completion within established timelines and budgets
  • Accurately complete data entry/maintenance in project management tool to reflect learnings from interactions with subject matter experts
  • Schedule and participate in (with the potential to lead) project or program update calls
  • Update BLIP resources (MP calendar, MP appointment reminders), create status presentations to Senior HR Leadership team, communicate with key People team project management contacts (BLIP team), etc.
  • Create and implement project plans, upon request, to address project requirements, timelines, and dependencies
  • Create and manage a project board, furthering overall Talent Team productivity on projects due to improved resource management
  • Support M&A efforts through involvement in monitoring HR integration task completion.
  • Establish and document processes, serving as a liaison between subject matter experts, system administrators and users
  • Understand and apply the organization's policies and procedures, integrating learnings from compliance and operational activities to enhance HR resources
  • Support HR forms maintenance and updates
  • Support and assist in updating and maintaining protocols for recurring HR processes
  • Monitor and respond to centralized support email
  • Review and submit supplier invoice payment requests for payment ensuring proper budget coding and cost distribution
  • Participate in management of documents for People team
  • Assist People teams with research, documentation, internal communications, events, and other projects

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience using organizational and operational skills and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience required, 3-5 years preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel and Outlook)
  • Efficient uses of Excel to convey project details, including tables and charts
