It is the mission of the Department of Internal Medicine, East Carolina University, Brody School of Medicine, to provide exemplary medical education/training of physicians in internal medicine at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, it is the mission of the department to provide model comprehensive primary and consultative sub-specialty care to individuals of eastern North Carolina, to advance scientific knowledge through basic and clinical research, and to provide continuing medical education opportunities for physicians in the region. |
Job Duties |
The Department of Internal Medicine at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC is seeking four full-time BE/BC internal medicine physicians for a one-year, fixed-term appointment at the title of Clinical Instructor and Co-Chief Resident for the Internal Medicine Residency Program.
Duties required: attending on the General Internal Medicine Ward Service; attending the Graduate Medical Educational Committee Meetings; maintaining the block scheduling template, attendance at the Grand Rounds, Noon Conference and Morning Report; and patient care duties.

Minimum Education/Experience |
MD or DO from an appropriately accredited institution, or completed foreign medical education accepted and recognized for
ECFMG Certification. Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of North Carolina. Board Certified or eligible for board certification in Internal Medicine. |
