Simulation Associate - Santa Monica

Supports the Nursing Simulation Program Coordinator in the planning and implementation of the nursing simulation education program. Responsibilities include management of program scheduling, simulation supply, equipment and resource management, data collection, analysis and reporting. In addition, the associate will prepare and maintain the nursing simulation center's equipment, computers, and materials available to support a virtual hospital setting. Assists the nursing educators in offering the participants a positive, simulation experience.

Salary Range: $32.76 - $49.65

• Skill in answering phone.
• Skill in using Apple and PC computer
• Skill in operating business office equipment such as fax, copier, computer and printer
• Skill in developing rapport and trust within department
• Skill in communicating clearly, timely and succinctly
• Ability to complete assignments within a scheduled timeframe.
• Ability to organize workload, set priorities, yet is flexible to changing needs/priorities
• Ability to analyze information, defining problems and identifying possible solutions
• Ability to maintain professional personal appearance and demeanor
• Skill in filing and organizing paperwork
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, iSimulate Software, Laerdal Software.
• Ability to read, write and understand medical terminology
• Knowledge of UCLA System policies

Preferred:

• Bachelors Degree
