CTL Student Learning Assistance is a program available to UNM students enrolled in undergraduate classes. Our mission is to enrich the academic climate at UNM and create lifelong learners. Online Learning Assistants provide learning support to students enrolled in a specific course in Canvas. OLAs have taken the course themselves and are now returning to the course to mentor and provide course support to currently enrolled students. As a member of the CTL team, employees attend mandatory weekly trainings focused on content designed to make them effective facilitators of student learning.
