About the unit Corewell Health has the only adult blood and marrow transplant (BMT) program in West Michigan. We provide marrow, peripheral stem cell and umbilical cord blood transplants for cancerous and noncancerous conditions. Our highly specialized multidisciplinary team brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge in various areas to provide care before, during and after transplant. Our nationally renowned adult BMT specialists have more than 50 years of combined experience. This position is resource, which will work variable hours, as needed, based off the needs of the department. About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of work Responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of an assigned group of patients. Collaborates with the Nurse Manager and other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat the patient's responses to actual or potential health conditions. Assesses, monitors, detects, plans, and takes appropriate action to prevent potential physiological complications associated with specific health problems and / or medical treatment. Qualifications
