We are looking for a visionary VP, AI Lead to lead the development of our new AI applications, driving strategic direction and delivering exceptional products that meet our users' needs.
The VP, AI Lead will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for our AI applications. This role requires a deep understanding of AI technologies, user experience, and market trends. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to push the boundaries of human computer interaction using AI, including generative AI, in our market. We want to create a product that stands out in the market and delivers measurable value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities & Expectations
  • Own the Product roadmap to support Brandwatch's AI strategy from idea inception to final delivery, working with Design, Engineering and Data Science on product discovery, requirements, and project plans to drive timely execution towards launch
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and challenges in the AI landscape
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to develop go-to-market strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that development efforts maintain a customer-centric focus and approach
  • Establish KPIs and success metrics to measure product performance and user engagement
  • Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement of the product
  • Present product updates and performance metrics to executive leadership and stakeholders.
LLM Configuration & Optimization:
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to design optimized workflows blending human expertise and decision making with LLMs to maximize efficiency and customer value.
  • Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to define prediction goals and establish model monitoring and evaluation needs.
  • Ensure responsible AI adhering to relevant frameworks and regulations for ethical and compliant AI models with minimum bias.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on AI-driven products such as conversational interfaces, predictive analytics or recommendation engines.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling AI-focused features, applications or software products in a B2B environment
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, including generative AI, machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and data analytics
  • Familiarity with generative AI platforms such as Google Vertex or other agentic framework such as Langchain or LangGraph.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Experience working with data scientists and engineers to define product requirements, set prediction goals and validate AI models.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience leading and mentoring product teams, with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align product strategy with overall business objectives.
  • Experience of social media, communications, public relations or the creative industries is a plus.
For Individuals based in New York Cision is required to disclose a salary range for this role. The base compensation range of $190,000 - $250,000 is specific to New York, however base pay may vary depending on a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skill sets, training, licensure, and other business and organizational needs. Additionally, well-qualified candidates may receive incentives outside of base pay, including an annual performance bonus. All offers will include competitive benefits, including healthcare and a 401k plan and company match. This salary range only applies to applicants based in New York. Applicants in different locations may have a higher or lower salary range.
