Position Summary
The primary location of this position is on the main Cullowhee, NC campus.

Must have a valid North Carolina Driver's License.

The primary purpose of this position is to prepare, repair, finish and/or refinish building equipment surfaces (wood, plaster, drywall, wall covering, steel, concrete, brick, etc) by recognized procedures and techniques of the painting trade.

Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position
Knowledge of standard procedures and practices of painting at the journeyman level. Examples are, but not confined to: Surface preparation techniquest and cleaning materials use; Painting and staining (brush, roller, spray) application techniques for all types of materials familiar to the painting trade; Wall covering lay out and application techniques; Skill in mixing paints and in matching or blending colors; Knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in the painting trade; Ability to maintain effective working relations with other employees.
Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from high school or equivalent. Experience in the trade(s) areas related to the position's role may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
