Summary
Coordinates and manages tasks for various projects/initiatives and facilitates associated work efforts within the health network. Communicates on a consistent basis with appropriate partners, project sponsors, committees, leaders, and other stakeholders regarding project priorities, project status, and project opportunities. Supports the varying multi-disciplinary teams and operational leaders by carrying the bulk of administrative responsibilities while learning the key skills within the project management discipline.

Job Duties

  • Prepares oral and/or written activity, status reports, and presentation materials for leadership regarding the status of projects.
  • Communicates on a consistent basis with appropriate partners, project sponsors, committees, leaders, and other stakeholders about project priorities, project opportunities, and project status.
  • Acts as a communication liaison to multi-disciplinary departments regarding project materials including updates, changes, and development of new content.
  • Utilizes data to aid in the development, enhancement, and optimization of new projects, communication, and goals.
  • Specializes in providing a high level of service and strategic direction in the development of project materials.
  • Oversees completion of project activities across institutional and organizational partners.
  • Provides operational, administrative, and technical support in determining the plan, design, and execution of projects.
  • Provides recommendations or new ideas that will better the progress of assigned projects. Communicates continuous areas of opportunity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's degree
  • 2 years' experience in handling projects or administrative work that include tight deadlines, multiple priorities, and teamwork.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment.
  • Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
  • Must be detail-and-results oriented and highly organized.
  • Proficient in project planning and life cycle development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
