Georgia-Pacific Consumer Manufacturing Group is seeking qualified professionals to consider for a Maintenance Performance Leader role supporting the Converting Department of our Consumer Products Operation located in Muskogee, OK. The Muskogee facility uses integrated technology to manufacture tissue, towel, and napkin products in a progressive production environment.

The role of a Performance Leader in Maintenance at Georgia-Pacific involves overseeing maintenance operations, ensuring that equipment and facilities are maintained effectively to support production goals. This role involves coordinating maintenance activities, providing technical guidance, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The Performance Leader Maintenance plays a key role in minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment reliability.

What You Will Do
* Embrace influential leadership to support the organization while advancing our Principle-Based Management (PBM) culture
* Lead and supervise maintenance teams, ensuring efficient and effective execution of maintenance tasks
* Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team
* Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability
* Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive maintenance activities to ensure that equipment and facilities are in good condition
* Monitor and analyze maintenance performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
* Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and equipment performance. Manage maintenance budgets and resources, ensuring cost-effective operations
* Coordinate the procurement and inventory management of maintenance supplies and parts
* Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
* Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary
* Provide technical guidance and support for troubleshooting and resolving complex maintenance issue

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* Experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance within a manufacturing, industrial or military environment
* Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
* Strong understanding of maintenance practices, reliability engineering, and asset management
* Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance techniques, equipment troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
* Experience in outage management or coordination

What Will Put You Ahead

* Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and/or Paper Science
* Knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment, and implementing safety protocols
* Supervisory experience with responsibility for direct reports within a manufacturing environment
* Experience working in a recycled pulp or paper operation
