Oxon Hill, MD Pay From: $25 Per Hour MUST: Graduate with diploma from a Surgical Tech program 1+ year of experience as a surgical tech Providing support to providers during procedures and ability to anticipate needs Monitoring patients Preparing and turning over rooms with adequate supplies and inventory Maintaining inventory and ensuring proper count of sponges and instruments once procedures are complete Knowledgeable of preference cards DUTIES: Provide direct patient care Scrub and assist surgeon Handle turnover between cases Ensure adequate supplies, equipment and instruments for cases Asist with opening cases in a sterile manner Utilize physician preference cards to set Assist with patient positioning, and draping Anticipate surgeon's needs Assist with dressing, splints, and casts Ensure accurate sponge, needle, and instrument counts Monitor patients' vital signs Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
