Cloud SW Engineer REMOTE/ Aberdeen, MD Pay rate from $50./hr MUST: Secret clearance Experienced Cloud SW Engineer 7-10+ yrs overall with 4 years of relevant experience all within the last 4 years specific to cloud Cert: IAT Level 2 includes baseline cyber certificate(s) and applicable platform certifications such as common operating environment training (Windows 2016/2019, Linux RedHat/CentOS) Experience with React/.Net/Java AoAs Experience with Azure Experience with creating an enterprise level, cloud native application(s) Experience with full stack analysis of current SW frameworks, DB architectures, etc. Experience building /creating from the ground up preferred Ability to ensure performance and security while meeting requirements Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines meeting government and CECOM/SEC requirements. Ability to Incorporate coding standards and modern testing practices (unit testing, load testing, etc.) Ability to work with stakeholders to define requirements and make recommendations. Agile experience Experience creating user stories supporting current requirements for use in the rewrite effort. Experience working closely with government leadership and stakeholders to create an application architecture, define requirements, and create a realistic schedule. Bachelor's Degree, in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other Engineering or Technical discipline + 4 years of relevant experience all within the last 4 years. Three (3) additional years of applicable experience with appropriate certifications/relevant experience may be substituted for the degree. (Total 7 yrs experience) DUTIES: The Cloud Engineer will help Plan and design cloud infrastructure within the Army Cloud service provider Maintains and deploys cloud applications Troubleshoots and resolves issues with the cloud infrastructure Develops new cloud-based solutions Designs, develops, and maintains plans to migrate applications to the Army Cloud provider of choice. Works with application maintenance teams and Cloud service providers to coordinate upgrades and changes to Cloud services Maintains enterprise level standards for applications migrating into the Cloud and standards for applications that have already migrated into the Cloud Understands, follows and promotes the values and principles in the Agile Manifesto Understands, follows and promotes continuous cyber security risk management Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
