Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift Position Location: This position is on-site at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital Standard Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Minimum Requirements:
Position Overview: Responsible for performing diversified duties in support of occupational health and/or worker's compensation services. The Team Coordinator assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates health promotion as well as medical and mandated programs/activities in response to the needs of clients. Collaborates with internal and external teams to coordinate activities. The team coordinator is responsible and accountable for the daily operations of the program and staff including coordinating quality and customer service activities; assisting in the development and monitoring of the departmental budget; coordinating the purchasing and payroll processes; serving as a technical/clinical resource to team members; and performing work assignments as needed to provide appropriate coverage and to mentor/assist staff. OHTC: Requires BAY certification within 12 months and spirometry/audiometry within 18 months. WCTC: Five years of experience in workers' compensation preferred. Current knowledge of governmental regulations and community health principles applicable to occupational and environmental health and safety.
