Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general accounting, reconciliations, fixed assets, compliance, accruals, audit, and financial reporting. This role requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with various departments and present financial information to stakeholders. You will work closely with the Controller and have room to grow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the daily operations of the accounting department.
  • Account analysis and reconciliation on all balance sheets accounts for all entities.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing process
  • Inputs journal entries, reconciles general ledger accounts, and subsidiary ledgers to maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
  • Maintain fixed asset ledgers
  • Prepare and review accruals and adjustments as necessary.
  • Analysis of monthly financial results and preparation of reports for Senior Management
  • Coordinate and assist with the external audit process, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Ad-hoc reporting and duties as needed
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 4years of accounting experience, with a focus on general accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
