Part-Time LPN (Pediatric Experience Required), Primary Care Clinic, Queens, NY

FlexStaff is seeking an LPN with a pediatric experience to work part-time for one of our external clients, a primary care clinic for their location in Queens, NY.

Schedule: 9:00 am to 5:00pm every Friday at Woodside location. There might be some additional need to work at a Jamaica location on Tuesdays. Please apply if you have availability for either of these days.

In this role you will be assisting assist physicians, nurses, and other providers and providing general nursing care to young patients.

An ideal candidate would High school diploma or GED; One-year LPN certificate from an accredited college or technical school and NYS LPN license.

Required License/certification:

• License and current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New York
• Valid New York State Driver's License and maintain it in good standing
• CPR

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Administering medications and vaccinations
• Monitoring patients' vital signs
• Assisting with diagnostic tests and procedures
• Providing wound care and dressing changes
• Conducting routine physical examinations
• Documenting patient information and medical records
• Educating patients and their families about health care practices
• Assisting with feeding and personal care needs
• Supporting pediatricians during examinations and treatments
• Maintaining a clean and safe patient environment
• Communicating effectively with the healthcare team
• Preparing and sterilizing medical equipment
• Responding to emergency situations
• Performing routine administrative tasks
