Job Summary

Under direction of the Dir, Residential Svcs, the manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies and associated tactics to meet annually defined objectives and sales goals for Corewell Health Continuing Care Independent and assisted living facilities (The Commons). Coordinates community outreach initiatives to develop a positive image for the Corewell Health Farmington Hills & Dearborn Independent and Assisted Living facilities. Works to build and improve upon existing and future relationships with residents, their families, and the community that reinforces and promotes the goals and objectives of Senior Services.Manages sales team at multiple sites to ensure market visibility and sales outreach with prospective residents and their families or caregivers, other managers and hospital staff.

Essential Functions
  • Coordinates Independent and Assisted Living Sales and Marketing promotions in partnership with Corewell Health Communications and Marketing and other consultants.
  • Manage relationship with external partners to market services to expand awareness and increase visibility in market, including social media and internet search engines.
  • Develops, partners, and consults with leadership and Corewell Health communications and marketing team to create marketing initiatives for Divisional Operations. Maintains sales and marketing material collateral and distributes as needed.
  • Monitors flow and quality of work of Sales team to ensure timely completion of workload. Sets and monitors achievement of goals and objectives for assigned departments and staff.
  • Recruits, supervises, directs and evaluates sales coordinators. Assures that all team members receive appropriate orientation, plus on-going educational training to ensure that each staff member maintains job competency.
  • Achieves and exceeds sales goals as established by the Marketing Plan.
  • Establishes a positive sales environment within all staff that would interact with hospital staff and potential residents.
  • Oversees move-in schedules and the management of information for each new resident.
  • Coordinates with other Continuing Care leadership for resources as needed in coordinating resident options, upgrades, and move-in scheduling.
  • Assists residents and/or family members throughout the decision-making process consistent with Senior Services guidelines.
  • Oversees resident contract documentation to ensure accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Directs and maintains accurate, complete and up-to-date sales and unit inventory records and analysis and prepares periodical reports as required.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information pertaining to Independent and Assisted Living residents and prospective residents.
  • Able to work on occasional weekends for events.
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Marketing, Healthcare, or another business-related field
  • 5 years of relevant sales and marketing experience
  • 3 years of relevant prior management experience
  • Driver's License from the State of Michigan Upon Hire
  • Able to travel to Dearborn and Farmington Hills locations
