Position Summary The Community Liaison will support Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders member organizations in achieving geriatric nursing excellence by augmenting the connection between NICHE Coordinators, nurse leaders, and the NICHE program office faculty and staff. Serve as a subject matter expert and represent the perspectives of the members to support the implementation of the NICHE program principles. Develop and implement outreach programs, projects, and activities, both in-person and virtually, to increase engagement and retain NICHE acute and long-term care member sites. Develop procedures and a workflow for the successful on-boarding of new members by orienting them to the NICHE program and its many resources. Qualifications Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration Required Experience: 2+ years Relevant experience including Business Administration/Development/Sales Experience, Basic Project Management, Customer Service, Healthcare Management, Social Media Management and Consultation or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Strong customer service/client service skills; geriatric nursing or medical-surgical nursing, clinical quality improvement, evidence-based practice; healthcare management. Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $82,500.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
