Remote Process Diagnostics Engineer Location(s): Granville, OH, US, 43023-1200 Function: Research and Development Audience: Experienced Professional Work Arrangement: Remote Requisition ID: 63731 PURPOSE OF THE JOB The primary purpose of the Remote Process Diagnostics Engineer (RPDE) is to improve safety, quality, cost, and the environmental footprint of manufacturing by enabling technical resources to better identify, troubleshoot, and evaluate process problems using remotely available manufacturing data. The RPDE uses analytical data systems to create robust models of manufacturing process behaviors. These are developed in conjunction with regional and plant technical resources in an iterative way to generate the most useful and effective insights. The RDPE will support these initiatives by working with subject matter experts, operations team members, and engineers to define, source, and display data in contextualized and easy to access ways. This role is expected to engage in regular collaboration with operations teams as part of routine process monitoring to ensure optimum performance. They will also work closely with IT and OTteams to connect relevant data and help maintain the data-for our digital tools. The RPDE will be expected to use effective communication and collaborative problem solving skills to influence the behavior of others in Operations and Science and Technology roles.
