Job Details Job Description The Senior Practice Manager manages the daily clinical activities for the divisions in the Department of Radiology. The Sr. Practice Manager maintains a patient-focused facility that strives for effective and efficient operations, coordinates practice business operations and serves as an internal and external consultant. The Sr. Practice Manager liaises with the clinicians and staff and serves as an advisor to the multiple clinical practices. In addition, works with the Administrator on administrative, contractual, long-range planning, third-party reimbursement and clinical operational issues within the satellites. Manages the satellite clinical operations in Radiology Ambulatory practices. Manages the clinical staff to include position acquisitions, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations and adherence to all institutional policies and procedures to ensure compliance in all areas. Provides high-level, progressive analysis, planning and implementation as it pertains to clinical operations within the satellite locations as well as strategic joint ventures for the overall departmental clinical activities. Manages and supports the clinical activities as well as the clinical staff. Ensures the prompt and courteous treatment of all patients in a neat, clean and efficient environment. Develops policies and procedures to ensure efficient clinical operations, monitors and improves staff productivity, increases patient satisfaction and maintains open lines of communication with management, staff, physicians and administration across all entities (Department of Radiology, Jefferson University, Jefferson University Physicians & Thomas Jefferson University Hospital). Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the iSCORE values of Jefferson. Bacheloras degree in business required. Master degree in health care management or business preferred.
