E2 Optics, a woman-owned technology integrator, is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to oversee the logistics of OFCI/CFCI materials and ensure the timely delivery of quality goods and services. You'll be leading a team and managing physical inventory for Supply Chain Management while ensuring compliance with safety standards and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do:
  • Material Logistics: Oversee the timely delivery, tracking, storage, and inventory of materials to support field operations.
  • Process Development & Improvement: Develop, execute, and continually improve logistics processes to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant warehouse operations.
  • Team Leadership: Provide coaching and development to team members, ensuring high performance and personal growth.
  • Inventory Management: Track material deliveries, reconcile packing lists, perform inventory counts, and ensure accurate stock reporting.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion Lean initiatives and track logistics performance using key metrics to drive continuous improvement efforts.
  • Vendor Management: Communicate with vendors to ensure materials are delivered on schedule and coordinate return processes as needed.
  • Safety Leadership: Lead by example to foster a safety-focused and professional work environment on the jobsite.
What We're Looking For:
  • Education:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant field.
  • Experience:
  • 2-5 years of experience in Logistics/Supply Chain, preferably in structured cabling or construction-related industries.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience, with the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage work assignments.
  • Skills:
  • Strong data analysis and calculation skills for decision-making.
  • Ability to develop and implement standard operating procedures for logistics tasks.
  • Excellent performance management skills and ability to lead by example.
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Jamis, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. Ability to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, bend, rotate, push, pull, reach with hands and arms on intermittent to regular basis daily. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. The employee may be required to work in tight, confided spaces. The employee must demonstrate regular and on-time attendance. There could be a requirement of occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
