What you'll do:

The Reimbursement Manager is responsible for managing the relationship of all payers within assigned territories, including contact initiation, relationship development, securing and implementation of contracts, coverage criteria expansion, and ongoing relationship management to maximize coverage and reimbursement. This position will work closely with NA Market Sales, Funding, and Billing and Collections as well as collaborate with other departments within Tobii Dynavox LLC to ensure contracts are properly implemented and revenue maximized.

As an ReimbursementManager, you will be responsible for:

  • Manages the day-to-day activities of the reimbursement strategy programs
  • Establish, build, negotiate and manage successful relations with national, regional and state insurance companies, Medicaid agencies, managed care organizations and preferred provider organization networks in order to maximize reimbursement
  • Plans, develops, and implements revisions and enhancements to reimbursement programs, creates standard operating policies and procedures, and obtains necessary approvals for implementation of revised or new services.
  • Completes tracking, analysis, and reporting of reimbursement program results
  • Completes the planning and coordination of reimbursement research, payer policy analysis, and reimbursement data analysis to support the corporate reimbursement strategy
  • Research and understand state, regional and national payer trends and identify opportunities and challenges to maximize reimbursement
  • Manages the timely preparation and distribution of payer updates, research results, and the results of reimbursement data analysis to internal stakeholders
  • Act as a resource and advocate on initiatives related to Medicaid and Medicare, managed care, other government insurance programs, private third party payers and related matters
  • Works closely with marketing and sales management and funding managers to develop innovative, customer-focused, product reimbursement programs and tools that provide customer value and competitive advantage.
  • Interacts with Legal, Regulatory, service, and fulfillment resources to manage programs within approved legal and regulatory guidelines and to coordinate corporate needs.
  • Develops field reimbursement training materials and tools for the reimbursement programs, and coordinates the execution of reimbursement training as required.
  • Develop relationships with key opinion leaders, including SLP's and physicians, influential with assigned payer.

What you'll bring:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent with excellent academic credentials
  • 5+ years of Healthcare Policy, Reimbursement, DME or equivalent experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Salesforce.com experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office suite
  • Communication skills using the spoken word
  • Ability to work with interruptions
  • Keep up in a fast-paced work setting
  • Ability to meet stringent deadlines
