Summary of Job Duties:This position is for a front-line information technology professional who handles calls in the information technology department. This team member oversees student workers in the IT department who assist with calls. The position helps end-users with various issues, including accessing their email, setting up MFA, or assisting a student in viewing their schedule in the system; all front-facing IT-related processes can come in on a call and need assistance with or sent to appropriate IT staff to assist further. They direct users on campus to the IT work order system when required and enter tickets as necessary.

They manage IT purchasing, track invoices, and monitor budget balances and contract renewals. This position reports directly to the CIO and performs other duties as assigned.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain harmonious working relationships with others. Qualifications:

The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in information technology, general business, or a related field is preferred.

  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and attention to detail
  • Must be highly skilled and proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Workday is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to be resourceful and will attempt to solve problems with minimal direct supervision
