Job Title: General Labor/ Sanitation

Department: Field Food and Beverage

Reports to: Site Foreman

Job Summary

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the piping production process. This role involves coordinating and optimizing the manufacturing processes to ensure efficient and timely production of piping components. Successful candidates must have strong Microsoft Office skills and be very organized. The candidate must be able to proficiently communicate verbally, written, and through other various communications with Field, Engineering, Shop, and Office personnel. Further, this person must be capable of completing complex projects within agreed upon timelines.

Success Criteria & Measurement

  • Understand each phase of a job and how work will be completed
  • Maintain all project data in an organized manner
  • Deliver projects on time
  • Must be a Certified Welding Inspector

Responsibilities

  • Ensure fabrication team is on schedule to meet project deadlines
  • Determine parts, supplies, tools, and equipment needs, place orders for them, then receive and organize them in advance of production needs
  • Ability to interpret fabrication drawing packages
  • Interact with management, employees, and customers in a professional and positive manner
  • Consult with ISI's Pipe Supervisor/Project Manager to plan and track production schedules and job-related activities
  • Ensure a safe working environment for ISI employees and customers
  • Review, train, and develop ISI employees

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of Supervisory experience
  • 5 years of pipe fabricating, fitting, and welding experience
  • Highly proficient at reading and working from blueprints
  • Possess excellent planning and coordination skills
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Have good attention to detail
  • Provide own hand tools (the tools of the trade)
  • Must have CWI certification
  • Have a current valid driver's license with a safe driving history
  • Pass a weld test on sanitary tubing and on carbon pipe
