THE JOB: As an Executive Assistant at MGM Resorts International, you will play a vital role in supporting our leadership and ensuring seamless operations. THE STARTING RATE:
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Provide comprehensive administrative support ensuring efficiency and excellence in day-to-day operations. Manage and prioritize a high volume of emails, phone calls, and correspondence, maintaining confidentiality at all times. Coordinate and schedule meetings, conference calls, and travel arrangements (domestic and international), including handling passport and visa applications. Handle heavy travel logistics for multiple executives, ensuring seamless itineraries and resolving any travel-related issues. Create and edit documents such as correspondence, presentations, and reports using advanced software skills. Plan and manage event logistics, including coordinating RSVP lists, audio-visual requirements, catering, hotel, and dinner reservations. Reconcile expenses and process reimbursements with accuracy and timeliness. Maintain and organize paper and electronic files, ensuring quick retrieval and secure handling of information. Screen incoming calls, assisting callers or forwarding them appropriately, while maintaining a professional demeanor. Support three executives by managing their calendars, inboxes, and ensuring all priorities are addressed. Attend onsite events in Las Vegas to provide direct support and ensure successful execution. Serve as a trusted liaison, exercising sound judgment and professionalism in all interactions.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
A minimum of 2 years of administrative or executive assistant experience; previous experience in a resort or similar setting is a plus. Demonstrated experience interacting with executives is required. Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, strong written and verbal communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with expense reporting and travel management systems like Cliqbook/Concur is preferred. Familiarity with coordinating event logistics, including managing RSVPs and working with audio-visual, catering, and hospitality teams. Detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional support. Outgoing, resourceful, and able to build and maintain friendly connections with business contacts. Must be an excellent communicator both in writing and over the phone.
