Summary

This position is considered a leadership position which requires responsibility for management of internal support team for P&C at IMA West. This position also has client management responsibilities.

Team Leadership and Management



  • Lead and manage a diverse team of service professionals, ranging from entry-level to senior client managers.
  • Set clear goals, expectations, and performance standards for team members.
  • Provide regular feedback, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.


Client Management



  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring high-quality service and a positive client experience.
  • Oversee all aspects of the renewal process, including strategy development, service delivery, and client engagement.
  • Collaborate with producers to align client objectives with organizational capabilities and ensure seamless communication.
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to address client needs and drive successful outcomes.


Mentorship and Career Development



  • Act as a mentor to team members, guiding them in their roles and supporting their professional growth.
  • Assist in hiring efforts, onboarding new team members, and creating career pathing opportunities.


Operational Oversight



  • Ensure all team members fulfill their responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve team workflows and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with sales staff to align service delivery with client and organizational needs.


Team Building and Collaboration



  • Foster a sense of community and collaboration within the team.
  • Promote alignment and integration between the team and the broader Property & Casualty (P&C) department.
  • Help with change management procedures to confirm alignment between team and broader company change initiatives.


Strategic Contributions



  • Support leadership in cultivating a high-performance team culture.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance team operations, client satisfaction, and overall efficiency.
  • Attend company and department meetings, position-related seminars/classes, client meetings, carrier functions, and other events as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has supervisory responsibilities, including time and attendance, performance management, effective communication, and employee relations. Knowledge of current FLSA standards for wage and hour, as well as compliance with state and federal employment laws, is critical.

Job Specifications




  • BA or BS preferred and/or 10 years equivalent insurance experience.
  • Active Insurance License

Salary Range
$110,000 $125,000 USD
