HUMAN RESOURCES - Manager

Mountain Youth Academy (a UHS company) is seeking a Human Resource Manager to join our growing team of HR professionals! Mountain Youth Academy is centrally located near Johnson City, TN, Boone, NC, and Abingdon, VA. We are a 120-bed residential treatment facility and assist in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health issues for our young adolescent patients.

The Human Resources Manager will champion recruitment / retention processes for Mountain Youth Academy. Responsibilities will include conducting New Hire Orientation sessions, preparing new hire/general employee training packets and maintaining them in good supply, maintaining training in the Learning Management System (i.e., HealthStream), processing changes in Lawson, assisting in organizing all employee activities and in-services, and other duties as assigned or directed. This role functions as the department lead in the absence of the HRD.

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Management with 3-5 years of relative experience is required. SHRM certification preferred but not required.
